Lipstick Can’t Solve All Problems But It’s A Pretty Good Start
I have a confession to make….I am a lipstick addict! Clothes may not always fit but lipstick never lets me down. Since I was little and raided my mums handbag and my aunts makeup drawer I always loved popping a bit of colour on my lips, it brightens my mood and can distract attention from my under eye bags briefly!

I recently stumbled across the Feed My Lips range from Aveda, I love their haircare and had high hopes their lip products would be as caring and effective. There are 22 shades available, after a lot of looking and debating with myself (always the best way!) I opted for the shade Mulberry a beautiful rosy pink colour. All the shades have been created and categorised to compliment our hair colour, they have done the hard work for us!

Feed My Lips lipsticks are 95% naturally derived and promise to:
- Not feather
- Nourish and moisturise the lips
- Smooth the lips
- Be long wearing staying in place for 8 hours
These lipsticks apply beautifully in one swipe I have a gorgeous pop of colour! I am really impressed with how pigmented these lipsticks are especially as they are 95% natural. The colour applies smoothly and evenly and is easily buildable. It has a creamy satin finish and feels so comfortable and lightweight to wear. The formula feels nourishing on my lips a welcome protective barrier in this cold weather! It feels soft as opposed to waxy which I was really happy with.

These lipsticks have a subtle mint scent which isn’t overpowering and feels refreshing. I have been wearing Mulberry recently for a pop of colour on our grey Autumn days (come back Summer!) I find once it sets the colour will stay in place for some time, yes a little does come off on my coffee cup! it fades down to a tint as opposed to a vibrant colour as the day goes on which I expected and am happy that at the end of the day I still have some colour on my lips. I will certainly getting some more colours from the Aveda range!
The Aveda Feed My Lips lipsticks (rrp £17.00) are available directly from Aveda and retail stockists.

Loving that colour on you. I love when lip balm and lipstick have a slight minty feel, I love the tingles.
