I have been loving gel based moisturisers this year especially during these warmer months. It was obviously a no brainier to try the Dew Point Moisturising Gel-Cream from Versed when it arrived, a gel-cream formula which before I made my coffee was on my face. If you enjoy gel based moisturisers grab a cuppa and keep reading!

The Dew Point Moisturising Gel-Cream comes in a plastic tube with a squeeze top dispenser which isn’t fiddly and easy to use. I love the aesthetic of Versed packaging, clean and minimalist it looks gorgeous on my shelf and I admit I may have a slight addiction!

What it Promises:

  • A hydrating boost for your skin
  • To leave your skin feeling refreshed and looking healthy
  • Fast absorbing
  • Non-greasy
  • Vegan friendly, cruelty free and pregnancy safe

Key Ingredients

  • Green Tea Leaf Extract – full of antioxidants it’s a powerhouse to hydrate and boost your skin health
  • Aloe Leaf Juice – full of antioxidants and vitamins it will protect and hydrate your skin
  • Sodium Hyaluronate – boosts skin moisture relieving dryness
  • Glycerin – to absorb and draw in moisture
  • Squalane – full of antioxidants it is great at soothing inflammation

The formula is free from common irritants including parabens, silicones and sulphates.

I love how refreshing and cooling Dew Point instantly feels on my skin, an essential during our mini UK heat wave! With a light bouncy consistency – imagine a jelly and you’re there, it easily applies to my skin with a little going a long way. It transforms to a lightweight fluid consistency which absorbs quickly delivering some essential hydration, a richer hydration than I admit I was expecting and my skin drinks it up! Wonderfully soothing thanks to the Aloe Leaf Juice, it calms my hormonal acne and is gentle to use if you have caught a little too much sun reducing inflammation quickly. It gives me a great smooth base for my makeup and slightly plumps my skin leaving it looking dewy and fresh!

The gel-cream formula isn’t sticky or oily, it is so lightweight and comfortable to wear allowing my skin to breathe. It layers brilliantly working well with other products in my skincare routine both morning and evening. It is a real saviour for my dehydrated areas adding back some much needed moisture and boosting my skins health. A great option for anyone looking for a lighter moisturiser during the summer months and if you have oily/combination skin. If you have dry skin you may prefer to opt for something richer or to alternatively follow with a facial oil to lock in the moisture. Dew Point is also fragrance free, great for anyone with sensitive skin! I can completely understand the hype and love how affordable Dew Point is, a great moisturiser which is keeping my skin hydrated and comfortable this summer!

The Dew Point Moisturising Gel-Cream (£6.50 20ml/£13.50 60ml) is available from Versed, Cult Beauty*, Boots, Target* and Walmart*.
