Charlotte Tilbury Matte Beauty Blush Wands recently launched and joined the popular beauty wand and Pillow Talk family. The beauty wands are so easy to use that I couldn’t resist seeing what the matte finish had in store for us. If you love an easy blush and a matte finish, keep reading for all the details!

In the classic Charlotte Tilbury rose gold design the beauty wands come packaged in a light weight tube which are perfect to pop in your handbag. They have a sponge applicator which with one gentle squeeze of the tube will fill with the blush and be ready to apply. There is an on and off lock on the tube to prevent any mishaps, remember to lock it after use (speaking from experience!). The Matte Beauty Blush Wands are available in four shades:

Pillow Talk – a rosy pink (exclusive to Charlotte Tilbury.com)
Pink Pop – a soft and feminine pink
Peach Pop – a fresh peach
Dream Pop – a vibrant cherry

As someone who appreciates quick and easy makeup I love how effortless the Beauty Blush Wand is to use. A couple of dabs to my cheeks and blending with my finger and I can get a natural flush in seconds. I love the versatility of colour, at first glance it is super pigmented, however if you apply a little it is easy to build from a natural hint of colour to a more intense pop. The blush does dry down quite quickly so I recommend quick blending. I have used both my fingers and a brush and get a beautiful finish from both. (See my video here of application)

The blush layers beautifully on my foundation and looks just as pretty on bare skin. Once set it doesn’t move and wears well, giving me a long lasting flush of colour. The finish is a natural matte, as a dewy skin fan I was delighted that the blush gives my complexion natural lift without appearing too luminous or flat. I love how smooth and skin like it looks. The formula is lightweight and doesn’t emphasising texture and fine lines – always a win!
