If you are on the fence about using actives do not overlook peptides. I often refer to them as a skin superhero where they work to increase cell turnover without causing irritation, resulting in glowing skin without the worry. Combined with Niacinamide had my instant attention. Known for its anti-inflammatory properties it works to calm and reduce redness. Whilst also both hydrating and balancing the skin. Great for us redness-prone skin types! The Niacinamide Peptides Serum is no different and a great combination to calm and balance the skin.

Befoe and After using Medik8 Niacinamide Peptides:

Review

Medik8 are best known for their Crystal Retinal and rightly so it works brilliantly. However if your skin is prone to sensitivity Peptides could be the less irritating option for you. The Niacinamide Peptides serum is silky smooth and lightweight, instantly it has a cooling and calming feeling when applied. It absorbs easily and layers well in my skincare routine, in fact its slotted in brilliantly! My skin feels soft and smooth instantly with a healthy hint of glow which is always a bonus.

I’ve been using it daily morning and evening and am now maintaining with evening use, fitting it in after cleansing and before I use my retinal. Consistency as we know is the golden rule for results with skincare and I have seen a reduction in my redness which is great. After four weeks I noticed positive changes with my complexion looking clearer and more even. I’ve also had less hormonal breakouts which has been a welcome surprise alongside my pores looking smoother and less open. Overtime my skin looks plumper, fresher, brighter and feels calmer. I always recommend patch testing skincare before using it and I have experienced no irritation. A great addition to my skincare routine to boost skin health whilst brightening and evening my complexion.
